TSMC Secures Licensing from Kodak for CMOS Image Sensor Technologies

TSMC has inked a technological patent licensing agreement with Eastman Kodak in early July. The contract will allow TSMC access to Kodak's 4T transistor pixel and pinned photo-diode pixel technologies, enabling the maker to manufacture new-generation CMOS image sensors in the future.
